Kylie Primeau
Primeau Lacrosse Founder and Holy Spirit High School Head Coach, Kylie Primeau, began playing lacrosse in eighth grade before playing for Bishop Eustace Prep School where she was a three-time Olympic Conference National Division Champion. Kylie served as a Team Captain during her senior season in 2013 when she helped lead the team to a 19-3-1 record and a chance at the 2013 NJSIAA South Jersey Group 1 Championship. Kylie finished her high school career with 96 goals and tallied 61 goals throughout her senior season. During her senior year, she set a Bishop Eustace school record for most goals in one game (9). Kylie was named to the 2013 First Team All-Olympic Conference National Division selection. She also played club lacrosse for South Jersey Select. After graduating in 2013, Kylie continued her lacrosse career at the Division 1 level at Villanova University for a short time before her playing career was cut short due to concussions. In 2021, Kylie became the Head Coach of the Holy Spirit High School Spartans in Absecon, NJ. In four seasons, she has coached the Spartans to a 54-24 overall record, led them to three NJSIAA Non-Public B State Championship Finals in 2022, 2023, and 2024 (the first time in program history), the inaugural Cape-Atlantic League Conference Championship Final in 2022 and again in 2023 and 2024, as well as the team's first Cape-Atlantic League National Division Title in 2022. This 2024 season, the Women's Lacrosse Club of South Jersey nominated Kylie as a candidate for Coach of the Year. In 2022, Kylie was named Coach of the Year by the Press of Atlantic City and NJ.com, Cape-Atlantic League Top Coach of the regular season by the Courier Post and in The South Jersey Top 5 Coaches by the Burlington County Times.
Kristin is a South Jersey native who started her lacrosse career playing for SJS in 2008 where she played for seven years. During this time, she also played at Bishop Eustace Prep as a four-year Varsity starter from 2013-2016, in which time she played for a NJSIAA South Jersey Group 1 Championship. Kristin currently holds the Bishop Eustace school record for most goals scored and points earned, as well as named to the All-State team her junior and senior years. After graduating from Bishop Eustace, Kristin continued her lacrosse career at TCNJ where she was a four-year starter and competed in two Division III National Championship games. After seeing three final four tournaments and winning three NJAC Conference Championships, her career was cut short her senior year due to COVID. She was named to the Second Team All-Conference in 2019 and First Team All-Conference selection in 2020. In 2021, Kristin went back to her roots as an assistant coach at Bishop Eustace and helped lead the crusaders to the playoffs. In 2022, Kristin became the Assistant Coach for the Holy Spirit High School Spartans in Absecon, NJ. She helped coach the Spartans to a 16-6 record and appearances in the NJSIAA Non-Public B State Championship Final and Cape-Atlantic League Championship Final for the first time in program history.
Maggie is an Absecon native who began playing lacrosse in fifth grade for the Absecon Tomahawks, where she then went onto Holy Spirit High School. Maggie was a two-time Captain at Holy Spirit. As a Senior, she helped lead the Spartans to their first appearance in a Non-Public B State Championship Final, the inaugural CAL Tournament Conference Final, the winningest season in program history, and a Cape-Atlantic League National Division Title. In 2022, and forever integrated into the Holy Spirit High School girls’ lacrosse program is the “Maggie Cella” award, awarded to the most all-around player each season. That year, Maggie finished the 2022 season second on the team in goals with 58, first on the team in ground balls with 34, second on the team in draw controls with 69, and third on the team in forced turnovers with 14. That same year, she was also recognized as CAL player of the year by NJ.com, First Team All-CAL and AC Press All-Stars two years running. Maggie continued her lacrosse and field hockey career at Cabrini University where she started as a Freshman and tallied 34 goals and 9 assists. Maggie won an AEC Championship in both lacrosse and field hockey in 2022, competing in the NCAA Tournament for both sports. With the end of the Cabrini lacrosse program, Maggie took her efforts to St. Joe’s University where she now coaches a local high school team, Friends Central School.
Maddie is a Ventnor native. She grew up playing for the Margate Riptides and club lacrosse for South Jersey Select. Maddie was a two-time team Head Captain for Holy Spirit High School. Maddie lost her Freshman year because of Covid and her Sophomore year due to an ACL injury. However, this did not stop Maddie from tallying 155 points (117 g, 38 a) in 38 games. As a Junior, Maddie led her team in forced turnovers with 20. In 2022, she was selected as First Team All-Cape Atlantic League National Division and First Team All-Stars by the AC Press. Maddie was Holy Spirit’s Team Midfielder of the Year in 2022 and earned the “Game Changer” award, which is given to the player that demonstrates the most mental toughness and leads by example. Implemented in 2022 and forever integrated into the Holy Spirit Girls Lacrosse program is the “Maddie Abbott Award,” which is given to the player each season that demonstrates the most commitment and dedication to the Holy Spirit girl's lacrosse program. In 2023, Maddie was named First Team All-Cape-Atlantic League, First Team All-Stars by The AC Press, 2nd Team All-South Jersey, which puts you in the top 8 of all midfielders in South Jersey, and Holy Spirit’s Team Midfielder of the Year. She was also recognized by the Women’s Lacrosse Club of South Jersey for being the most courageous player coming back from a pandemic, ACL tear, and still showing up as a standout player without ever touching the field until her Junior season. Maddie is now continuing her education and lacrosse career currently at Division 1 Radford University. During her Freshman year, Maddie earned Big South Freshman of The Week and was a Radford Freshman Athlete of the Year nominee. She was a starter and scored 14 goals.
Ashley is a South Jersey native raised in Margate. Coming from a big lacrosse family, she began playing lacrosse in third grade. Ashley was a four-year varsity player at Ocean City High School from 2016-2020 and was named captain her senior year. She received Cape-Atlantic League first team her junior year and was also named Press of Atlantic City Honorable Mention that same year. After graduating from Ocean City, Ashley continued her lacrosse career at Washington College and has been a two-year starting attacker for the Shorewomen. Along with playing at Ocean City, Ashley played club lacrosse for South Jersey Select from 2014-2020. At Washington College, Ashley was a four year starter, two-time team captain, and joined the 100 point club. Ashley was the 34th player in school history to tally 100 points.
Mia is a goalie from South Jersey. She played varsity all four years of high school at Middle Township, leading the state in saves in 2021. She also received NJSIAA Group 1 Third First Team All-Star. Mia’s team voted her captain her Senior year in 2022. She received Honorable Mention in Cape-Atlantic League All-Star her Freshman and Junior year. Mia also played club lacrosse for Shamrocks and Outlaw Ladies from New York. She is currently continuing her academic and lacrosse career at Immaculata University.
Hayley grew up in Egg Harbor Township and is a Division 1 midfielder at Rider University. Hayley was a four-year Varsity starter from 2019-2022. She was a Team Captain and won MVP in 2022 along with Second Team All South Jersey and First Team All CAL. Although Hayley’s career was shortened consecutively by the COVID year preceding a season ending knee injury, she is a member of the 100-goal club tallying 112 goals and 146 points while at Egg Harbor Township High School. More of her accolades include: 2019 & 2021 Under Armour All American, 2019 NXT Showcase Allstar, 2020 T3 Elite Allstar. Hayley also played club for Jersey Shore Select. During her Frehman season, Hayley earned MAAC Conference All-Rookie Team honors. She also helped Rider lead the MAAC in draw controls with 264 and an average of 15.53 per game. Hayley started in all 17 contests and tallied 53 draw controls, 10 forced turnovers, and 12 ground balls.
Alexis is a South Jersey local from Margate who grew up playing lacrosse. She started playing lacrosse in second grade and is an Ocean City High School graduate. Her senior year, she was named team captain and won MVP. She earned First Team all CAL, and throughout high school, Alexis played club lacrosse for South Jersey Select. She is now a member of the West Chester University Women’s Lacrosse team where she plays midfield. At West Chester, Alexis has won the PSAC Conference Championship twice, had two undefeated regular seasons and competed in the 2023 NCAA D2 National Championship game. In 2024, Alexis made it to the Elite 8 with West Chester.
Coach Hendo is currntly the Assistant Coach at Holy Spirit High School. He is a 2 x State Championship Finalist, 2 x CAL Championship Finalist. He also has over a decade of Coaching Experience at the Recreational, Club, and High School Level
Coach Mike is a former USA Women's Lacrosse Coaches Trainer. He is a former player and currently a coach for Avalon lacrosse. Coach Mike has experience at the recreational, club, youth, and high school level.
Coach Allen has a background in both playing and coaching lacrosse. A former college lacrosse player at TCNJ, Coach Allen has had experience coaching recreational, travel, and high school lacrosse. She was the assistant varsity lacrosse coach at Robbinsville High School for several years before her current position as a lacrosse coach at East Brunswick High School. She is so excited to join the coaching staff and continue to help players grow on and off the field.
Rebecca began her lacrosse career at Camden Catholic High School and served as captain her Senior season. After a knee injury ended her playing career, she joined the coaching side of things. She was an Assistant Coach at Camden Catholic High School from 2014-2019, during which time the team made it to 5 straight Group Finals. She is now the Head Coach at Cedar Creek High School in Egg Harbor City. In the 2023 season, the Pirates had their first ever winning season, finishing with 10 wins under Coach Gordon. This was also the first time the Pirates finished a season with more than six wins. Coach Gordon was also named 2023 Coach Of The Year by the Press of Atlantic City.
Maddie is a South Jersey local from Ocean City where she currently lives. After graduating from Ocean City High School in 2017, she attended The University of Tampa where she graduated with her Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training in the Spring of 2021. Later that year she began working for Rothman Orthopedics and took over the athletic training role at Holy Spirit in the Spring of 2022. As of the Spring of 2024, Maddie is now the athletic trainer at Ocean City High School.
